OUR TEAM

JEANETTE MAYER

Jeanette has been a practicing physical therapist for 21 years. She has extensive experience in the Outpatient rehab setting with focus in orthopedics and manual therapy. In the last 8 years, she expanded her training by working in the home health setting where she works with older adults to address home safety, balance and falls prevention. She is certified in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy (or MDT), a scientifically proven assessment process that will identify the best treatment solution for back, neck and extremity problems. She's also a certified falls prevention specialist and an Otago trained therapist. Otago is an evidence-based exercise program, developed in New Zealand. It is a series of exercises delivered by a Physical Therapist in the home that reduces falls between 35 and 40% for frail older adults. As a mother of 3 young children, staying fit and healthy is very important to her. She extends the same priority to her patients so they can improve their quality of life and lead a more active lifestyle.

DANIEL MAYER

Dan graduated from Arcadia University's doctorate of physical therapy program in 2009 where he completed research on shoulder pathology in overhead athletes. This was of particular interest to him as he threw javelin while he was an undergraduate at Penn State. After graduation, he worked at Kessler Institute for Rehab in West Orange where he worked with patients with orthopedic to neurological injuries. After leaving Kessler, he worked in home care providing physical therapy to seniors in Morris County. He is a certified falls prevention specialist and a Serrota certified bike fitter.  When he isn’t working he enjoys spending time with his 3 children and coaching his son’s soccer team.
